Discovery Bay shines in Pro-Am Women’s tournament
Last Thursday Discovery Bay fielded a team for a Pro-Am Women’s event in Marysville at Cedarcrest Golf Course. Headed by Pro Jeff Kent, the team also included Wanda Synnestvedt, Lynn Pierle, and Jane Guiltinan from Discovery Bay Women’s Golf Club. Jeff tied for 5th gross with a 73 and Wanda tied for 5th gross with an 84. The team just missed placing in the money with an overall net score of -13, but everyone had a good time playing on a warm, sunny day.
