July 14th - 16th; Youth golf camp: Discovery Bay Golf Club recognizes the need to bring into and support youth in the sport. During the 3 day camp the participants where split into 3 small groups (driving range, putting green and chipping area) which they rotated around. At each station they worked on the fundamentals after which on each day they took out to the course to apply on a select number of holes. Some of the older participants went out and played the back nine after one of the sessions. The camp will be held again in the summer of 2010, once again the space will be limited.
