Jefferson County Amateur
August 20-22, 2011
The new annual Jefferson County Men's Amateur Golf Championship was played Aug. 21, and 22. A practice round played Friday August 19th by some of the field.
The last time this event had been played was 1933.
TJ Durner bested the field in the 2011 event, holding on to his lead he established Saturday.
August 2012
The Jefferson County Amateur is cheduled again for the 3 week of August 2012.
The two-day stroke-play tournament is open to all locale amateur golfers with a United States Golf Association handicap card (which is current).
